It was a riot hearing Suzi Ronson talking about her book, Me and Mr Jones: My Life with Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

While working at a hairdresser’s in Beckenham, she noticed a commotion outside.

David and Angie Bowie were turning heads on the suburban high street with their transgressive style.

Suzi ran after them and asked to be their hairdresser. Soon after, she arrived at their home with the hair colour Schwarzkopf RED HOT RED.

The book charts the many adventures which followed.
